I’m Alice — the artist behind Astra Studios.
I’ve always been creative, but photography is where everything clicked. It pulls together the way I see people, the way I build visuals, the way I tell stories — all of it. I’ve worked in music, styling, and film, but this is the space where I feel the most connected. What keeps me here is watching people step into themselves during a shoot. That moment where they stop performing and just exist — confident, unfiltered, real — that’s the part I love most.
Being a transgender woman shapes how I approach this work — not because it defines me, but because I know what it’s like to move through the world not feeling fully seen. I built this studio to be the kind of place I always looked for: calm, creative, and honest. Where you don’t have to explain yourself to be understood.
Whether it’s in the studio, on location, or something totally offbeat, I want the work we make together to feel like you. Not a version of you — just you.
